A display window, most commonly called shap window or store window, is a window in a shap  displaying items  for sale or otherwise designed to attract  customers to the store, usually  the term refers to larger window in the front facade of the shop. Such window were invented about 1780,Display window at boutique usually have  dressed up mannequin in them. Putting  a window Display of merchandise in a store's window is called "window  dressing ",which is also used to describe the items  displays themselves. As a figure of speech, "window  dressing "means something done to make a better impression  and sometimes implies  something dishonest or aeceptive. 

Visual Merchandising

Visual Merchandising is the activity and profession of developing the floor plans and three dimensional displays in oder to maximize sale. The purpose of such visual merchandising is to attract, engage and motivate the customer towards making a purchase.  The purpose of visual merchandising is to. * Make it easier for the customer to locate the desired category and merchandise.  * Make it easier for the customer to Self-select.  * Recommend, highlight and demonstrate particular products at strategic locations.  * Educate the customer about the product in an effective and creative way.  * Make proper arrangements in such a way to increase the sale of unsought goods.

Street Style is a specific fashion style which comes from college going youngester .they adopt lasted fashion trends, mostly garments brands concentrate taste on young boys and girls.  2.  Culture and lifestyle is influence street style of particular place or city. For example America have different street style and Turkey  have different to others.  3. India's culture is vast and colourful, so Rajesthan have own street style and Bombay's different street style.

It is a form of mass communication, a powerful marketing tools, a component of the economic system, a means of financing the mass media,  a social Institution, an art form, an instrument of business management, a field of employment and a profession.  Features of advertisement  1. Advertisement is concerned with telling the target market about the right product.  2.Advertisement include selling, mass selling, sales promotion and public relations.  3.The purpose of advertisement is to inform and to persuade.  4.The  consumer accepts  advertisement as a useful necessary activity as it  provides information.  5.Advertisement is the  communication aspect.  6.The advertisement should be creatively differential from that of the competitors.  7.The advertisement should  be able to evoke an emotional response.  8.The advertisement should be able to encourage the customer to interact with the products.

A merchant is a business who trades in commodities produced by others, in order to earn a profit  Types of merchant -       There are two types of merchant.  1.A whole  sale merchant operates in the chain between typically dealing in large quantities of good. Some whole sale merchant only Organize the movement of good rather then move the goods themselves.  2.A retail merchant or Retailer, sell commodities to consumer usually in small quantities. A shop owner is a retail merchant.

A Fashion merchandiser plays an important role in   organization, a merchandiser with creative and financial roles, Although different companies may assign different type of responsibities to a merchandiser, certain components are part of a fashion merchandiser's job.   The fashion buyer needs the  commercial flair to buy a range, merchandise interact very regularly with buyer and are responsibles for setting the financial parameters of a garment range. This can include creative ,a framework for the buying budget, defining the number of products and balance of the margin across the whole range.

Marketing research is the systematic design, collection, analysis and reporting of data and finding relevant to a specific market situation being faced by the company. As we all know that the fashion firm business is seasonal  and keeps changing at quicker peace, the fashion firm face a number of problems due to changing level of expectations, changing environmental, conditions and the mounting competition, which markers it necessary that marketing decisions are based on a scientific research system. Methods of Research  1.Primary Source 2.Secondary Source   1.Primary Source - When we try to collect first hand information about a particular topic ,it is know as primary source of data. This type of data can be collected by observation, survey and experimention. 2.Secondary Source - This can be collected from books, magazines, journals, periodicals,govt's news release, research papers as reports published by some authority or agency.
