Merchant

A merchant is a business who trades in commodities produced by others, in order to earn a profit 
Types of merchant -
     There are two types of merchant. 
1.A whole  sale merchant operates in the chain between typically dealing in large quantities of good. Some whole sale merchant only Organize the movement of good rather then move the goods themselves. 
2.A retail merchant or Retailer, sell commodities to consumer usually in small quantities. A shop owner is a retail merchant.
