Designers and manufacturers are increasing able to appeal to different consumer markets to sell their merchandiser. Another advantage is that the designer 's company has control over the management of the retail outlets and the decision making that is best suited to market the merchandise competition is also restricted by eliminating the presence of other lines. 
Today such renowned designer such as Armani, Chanel, Manish Molhotra and Ritu Kumar, J. J Valya and many more becoming common places in in fashion retailing by operation their own merchandising units.
