It's take a great deal of advance planning involving booking models & fitting &arranging for a runway ,scenery, lighting, microphone, music, seating & assistants. Clothes are generally grouped according to styling, colour, or other visual criteria. Models & music are selected to complement the clothes & set a mood. A designer- centered event can cost from $ 10,000 to $ 500,000.because of their cost, these shows are usually reserved for charity events & stores look, for cosponsor to share costs for an Italian. designer collections show, for example cost could be split among the store, the designers images on banner ads. when a consumer make a purchase from an E-commerce site, the retailer requests the customer's E-mail address then the retailer can use that address for advertising, delivering messages about special promotions &products directly to an existing online customers. 

Designer Trunk show

Designer Trunk Show are done in cooperation with a single vender and are a popular way to sell expensive collections. Invitation are sent to the best customers according to records kept by sales associate. The designer or  a representative travels from store to store with the collection, which is usually show on models in the designer collections department. Customers get to see the entire collection unedited by a buyer and may oder from the samples in their size. Although some designers and retailers do 50% of their total business through trunk shows, others find them time - consuming, exhausting work and have given them up. 

Discount Store

In discount store maximum profit is being handed over to the consumers. These stores sell standard merchandise at lower prices by accepting lower margins and selling higher volumes. The use of occasional discounts or specials does not make a discount store. True discount stores regularly sell their merchandise at lower prices, offering mostly national brand and not inferior good. These stores have low operating costs and low overhead expenditures. 

Franchise

Specialist fashion multiples occasionally operate on a franchise basis where the store is run by a franchisee who purchases all of the products from the franchisor .The franchise contract obliges the franchisee to pay an initial start up fee and subsequent royalties to the franchisor. This may seem a relatively expensive method of setting up a retail business yet it could be argued that the franchise has a good chance of success from trending under an established brand name with the overheads of range planning, product development and promotion being borne by the franchisor. Franchising is rare with in the fashion market, the most well known example being the Italian company Benetton. The advantage to the franchisor is that the brand can expend with the minimum of investment in now stores as well as benefit of regular income from franchisees.

Draping

Draping for fashion design is the process of positioning and pinning fabric on a dress form to develop the structure of a garment.  2.Fashion designer drape garments in section .like, front bodies, back bodice, front skirt, back skirt etc. Basically this is basic technique of drape.  3.Draping is a key skill to understand the designs, what create perfect fitting and how to drape on garments.  4.Fashion Darping and fitting are usually done with muslin to resolve any design and fitting issues of a garments before cutting the pattern on real fabric.
