Discount Store

In discount store maximum profit is being handed over to the consumers. These stores sell standard merchandise at lower prices by accepting lower margins and selling higher volumes. The use of occasional discounts or specials does not make a discount store. True discount stores regularly sell their merchandise at lower prices, offering mostly national brand and not inferior good. These stores have low operating costs and low overhead expenditures.
