Silhouette

The outline of the dress or the basic shapes is its silhouette. It is also referred to as contour or form. There are three basic silhouette worn by western women. They are the straight or tubular, the bell shaped or bartend, the bustle or back fullness. Many variations are possible in these silhouette. The variation give rise to new and innovative designs.
